• ficmix: i'm stressed, i've thought about it every single day but haven't really started it. it's been hard bc i'm torn between a fic that affected me emotionally to the point that i'm not eager to reread it and go through it so thoroughly and a couple other fics that are good but not as impactful so i don't have as many ideas about how to remix them. fml


• eric fest: going alright, i got the email for the 1st check in! i'm a little disappointed with how little i have though...

comments: this is honestly so fun, but my brain gets so overwhelmed at times bc i really like this prompt and i can imagine a bunch of vague ways it can go at once...this is a pairing i've only written for once before, but it's 100% a natural progression for me. i have no idea how far i'm gonna take it and what rating it will end up with btw. also real life is giving me great material lately so my brainrot is festering at the perfect time. love it.

comments: managed to write like 200 words in a single sprinting session and those words basically rounded out the hiking scene that i'd been struggling with for...idk how long, but i've complained a few times in prev logs, so. i have a weird little rough outline/notes in the doc and for now i'm still honoring that (while adding more!); hiking was "activity 1" so i FINALLY get to move onto "activity 2"!! sunwoo and jacob are getting a refresher on each other and creating a new bond without sunwoo's brother, you love to see it :D

loona fic #4, who else smiled!!! somehow i ended up having gowon at the beach again (Sapphic Saltbrain Summer). and yves at a gay bar again (In My Place). but it felt completely new because it's yveswon, which i recently fell into after bbc imploded and they became pretty much inseparable and married during the period of uncertainty that lasted months, and also because it's a period piece! this fic came about because i just couldn't stop thinking about these tweets describing lesbian cruising in the 70s. i've always been really interested in the 70s, maybe because i've been a scooby doo fan since i was five but regardless, i always love attempting to dive into that time period. this isn't my first time doing so in fic either, the minibin i posted is vaguely 70s and my cobric wip is, too.

OKAY BACK TO THE FIC AT HAND. so once i pictured shake it queendom stage gowon it was OVER, i knew i had to write this. it was super interesting and fulfilling to do some research on jacob riis beach in new york, as i unfortunately never knew about it or its status as a queer haven until those tweets. i also just spent some time learning about cruising, historical gay hotspots, and even a lesbian neighborhood in the 90s called womontown. the rings that yves and gowon wear in this fic are inspired by the "couple rings" they have irl btw. in case anyone cared and/or didn't know. i would like to apologize for the lack of lesbian sex here. i was close to writing out their hookup in full detail but i was originally aiming to post this during pride month and then even after i let go of that deadline, i still felt pressured for some reason? i'm so sorry i will do better...

lastly, i've never finished any itzy fic before and a few months back i tried to write yulia for a dreamgirls fest prompt, but it's still unfinished as of now - so somehow they just showed up in here instead lmaoooo. for midzys or anyone else paying attention you'll know that the shot glass they talk about in this fic was inspired by the shot glass chaeryeong bought irl, although admittedly i only watched the clip where itzy showed it and not the full video so idk where they were or anything...but yeah i hope yulia were cute here >< i really want to write a full fic for them though, no one else is out here is...so...[kicks rocks]
